Introduction

Thank you for your commitment to your studies at AFM Theological College. We understand that circumstances may arise that lead you to consider withdrawing from a course. This form is designed to help you formally request a withdrawal and understand the financial and academic implications involved.

Financial Implications of Withdrawal:

1. Withdrawal within the first 15 days of a course:

   • 80% credit note of the course fee
   • Course does not appear on your academic record
     
     

2. Withdrawal within the first 30 days of a term course or the first 45 days of a semester course:

   • 60% credit note of the course fee
   • Course appears on your academic record as "withdrawn" but does not affect your grade average
     
     

3. Withdrawal within the first 45 days of a term course or the first 90 days of a semester course:

   • 40% credit note of the course fee
   • Course appears on your academic record as "withdrawn" but does not affect your grade average
     
     

4. Withdrawal after the specified periods:

   • Allowed only for serious medical reasons with supporting medical documentation
   • Evaluation by college staff required
