Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Application

Instructions for Completing the RPL Application Form

Please follow the steps below to ensure your RPL application is submitted correctly:

• You must first be admitted to the AFMTC programme for which you are applying for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). RPL applications will only be considered for students who have already been accepted into an AFMTC programme.

• Complete all required fields accurately and honestly.

• Upload certified copies of all required supporting documents. Certification must be dated within the last three months. Required documents include:

  • Academic transcript(s)

  • Qualification certificate(s) (e.g. Certificate, Diploma or Degree)

  • Any additional supporting documentation required for the RPL evaluation.

• After submitting this form, you will receive an invoice for the RPL evaluation fee of R2,500.

• Your RPL application will only be processed once payment has been received.

• You will receive the outcome of your RPL application within 10 working days of payment, provided that all required documentation has been submitted.
